Updates and Changes

Standards GradeBook (Elementary & Primary Center)

  • The ability to add Attachments to Standards Gradebook Subjects has been added to PaC as well as the
    Academic Area setup in Product Setup. These Attachments can be viewed in the Standards Gradebook
    They can also be viewed in Family or Student Access if the option to allow them to be displayed has been
    selected.

  • A Save and Score button has been added to allow teachers to create a new event and score it right away.

  • An option to Round Term/Semester Skill Grade Percents when calculating the Semester/Final Subject
    Grades has been added to the Standards Gradebook.

  • The ability to enter a skill adjustment has been added to the Standards Gradebook.

  • When entering override grades, the user can now select from the available Exempt, Incomplete and
    Medical Grade Marks. The Skill or Subject would then be excluded from any of the calculations.

  • The Subject and Skill Grade Entry screens have been modified to show prior terms when entering current
    term grades.

  • Teachers are now able to enter comments for any Subjects that are marked to be graded. Subject
    Comments can be entered for each term the same as the class comment.

  • Standards Gradebook users can now define a default maximum score for events. This value can be
    accessed on the Event Display Options Screen.

  • Standards Gradebook will now allow teachers to enter a Subject Adjustment even if none of the Skills
    attached to that Subject have a Grade.

  • Teachers now have the ability to choose how they want Subject, Skill and Event grades to display.
    Depending on the calculation method used for the Academic Area, teachers will be able to choose from
    Grade Mark, Score, Percent and Check.

  • The Standards Gradebook Quick Score screen has been changed so that it will remove the missing flag for
    a student automatically when the user enters a score or grade mark for an event that was marked as
    missing.

  • The Event and Missing Event reports can now be run for multiple classes from the Gradebook Class List
    Screen.

  • If printing the comments on a separate page, the teacher and class information will always print on the
    comments page so the student/guardian can see which comments were given by each teacher. The teacher
    and class for each set of comments are identified even if the user has checked the option to not print the
    teacher and class information on the report card setup.

 

Secondary Gradebook (High School, Middle School and Learning Center)

  • An option has been added to the Assignment Display screen to allow teachers to display only the previous
    week and next two weeks of assignments. Using this option allows the Gradebook screen to load faster.

  • Districts can now choose to round the Semester/Final Exam percent when calculating the Semester and/or
    Final Grade. This option can only be used if the district is already rounding the term and semester grades
    when calculating the Semester and/or Final Grade.

  • The ability to maintain your Comment Bank (list of used free-form Assignment and/or Event Comments)

  • Changes to Assignment and Event scores are now tracked in the Gradebooks. The score change history
    can be viewed from the Assignment/Event detail screen or from Student Options.

  • Teachers can now choose to view attendance for all of today's periods on the Post Daily Attendance
    screen.

  • An option has been added to print Special Codes assigned to assignments. This option has also been
    added to the Email and Partial Progress Reports.
